Poston NAL – Congratulations to Poston’s NAL team. They fought a good fight at the championship match but came up short by two points. We are so very proud of our team, their coaches, and our supporters.
Yearbooks – Yearbooks are on sale via the bookstore or online. They can be purchased for $30. Monday 4/3 is the last day to purchase a 22-23 yearbook. NOTE: Yearbooks will be delivered to students the last week of school.
4th Quarter Sports – Games start this week. We will take team pictures on Tuesday after school. All athletes should wear their team jersey’s and black gym shorts unless they have assigned uniform shorts.

Required Arizona State Standardized Testing – This year’s testing begins this week.
- 8th Grade AZSCI science testing takes place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week in their 1st hour class. 7th Graders will follow their regular schedule this week.
- Next week, all students will complete the AASA testing for Writing, Math, and Reading. They will test with their first hour teachers.
- Testing Bell Schedule for 4/10 – 4/14
- Please remind your student to completely turn off their computer at night and plug it in to charge over night to be ready for testing.
Poston Parent Network (PPN) The PPN is looking for parent help and officers for next year’s committee. If you are interested in helping next year, please fill out an interest form at the following link. PPN Interest Form
Parent Pick up and Drop off – Please continue to use the south parking lot or 25th and Adobe for student pick up or drop off. The north parking lot is reserved for staff parking and for public who needs to speak to front office.
As a reminder, campus does not open until 8:45am and supervision is not provided for students prior to that time. Students on campus before 8:45 without an appointment with a teacher, involved in a club or sport, will be asked to leave.

Registration for 2023-2024 – Its that time of year for registration for next year. Make sure to complete your online re-enrollment through the parent portal for next school year. Also let your friends know that if they would like to choose Poston for their student, they can complete that process in the parent portal. If they don’t have a portal, they can stop by our office for assistance.
Poston Create – We are excited to launch our pilot year of Poston Create. This education model will pull students from both grade levels to work in teams for their Social Studies, Language Arts, and Science classes. These teams will be facilitated by teachers from each of these disciplines. In this environment, students will work with teachers to create their learning and understanding of the crucial elements of Science and Social Studies utilizing Language Arts and Arts Integration skills. This will create a deeper and personalized understanding of essential skills and knowledge in an interdisciplinary approach.
